The composition on a teal and yellow ground features a large tabby cat and two kittens, one feeding from a bowl, positioned beside a printed sack of ‘Spratt’s Cat Food For Kittens Too’. The sack displays a Royal Warrant crest with text reading ‘BY APPOINTMENT Suppliers of Dog and Game Foods To H.M. The King’ above a ‘LONDON, E.3’ address. The slogan ‘I’M PROUD OF MY FAMILY REARED ON’ appears above the brand name ‘SPRATT’S’ in orange-red block lettering, accompanied by a stylized cat silhouette logo containing the letters ‘SPRATTS’. Housed in a dark-stained wooden frame under glass.

Condition report:
The paper showcard exhibits prominent horizontal creases and folds across the central area (photo 1). There is significant surface loss and white abrasion in the upper right sky section (photo 5) and near the top centre edge (photo 2). Small punctures and dark spots of staining are present throughout the lower yellow field, with further surface loss visible along the bottom edge near the word \'SPRATT\'S\' (photo 4). The wooden frame shows heavy scuffing, scratches, and finish loss, most notably on the bottom rail (photo 3). The reverse is paper-sealed and fitted with two modern brass-coloured brackets (photo 8).
