A railway enamel advertising sign featuring a white ground with dark blue lettering. The text reads SOUTH EASTERN & CHATHAM RAILWAY in a condensed sans-serif typeface, enclosed within a thin dark blue linear border. The reverse displays a heavily oxidised surface with traces of red oxide primer.

Condition report:

The sign is in weathered condition with corrosion and metal loss mainly to the edges. Staining, surface crazing, and general enamel loss are evident throughout the white field.
