A double-sided flanged enamel advertising sign for Aladdin Pink Paraffin. The sign features a white ground with black script lettering for the brand name Aladdin at the top and paraffin in lowercase script at the base. Centrally, the word PINK is set in large black serif capital letters within an orange stadium-shaped field outlined in black. A line of text at the bottom edge reads ALADDIN AND PINK ARE JOINT REGISTERED TRADE MARKS OF ALADDIN INDUSTRIES LTD. AND SHELL-MEX AND B.P. LTD. The sign is fitted with a side-mounting flange for wall projection.

Condition report:

The sign shows significant wear and damage to both sides. One face (photo 5) exhibits multiple deep vertical score marks through the enamel, which have heavily oxidised. There is extensive corrosion and enamel loss to the entire perimeter, particularly along the top and bottom edges. Small rust spots are visible within the central fields (photos 2 and 3). The mounting flange is heavily rusted with three fixing holes present (photo 4). A patch of adhesive residue is located in the lower-left corner of one side (photo 6).
