Condition report:
Significant enamel loss and edge chipping with associated rust and oxidation are visible along the top and right borders (photo 1, photo 2, photo 4). Numerous impact chips are scattered across the central field, directly affecting the lettering of Mobiloil and the area surrounding the gargoyle logo (photo 1, photo 3, photo 4). The face shows general surface scratching and dulling to the gloss finish (photo 1, photo 4). The reverse side shows heavy surface oxidation and rust across the entirety of the steel panel (photo 7). The wooden frame, screws, and corner brackets are modern additions and not original to the sign (photo 1, photo 7).
