A Bass advertising tray of round lithographed tin form, featuring a cream ground. The centre bears the brand name Bass in red cursive script above the solid red triangle logo, with the printed text TRADE MARK in uppercase characters below. The rim is finished in a contrasting solid red. A small printer mark reading B M B is printed in black on the lower front edge. The reverse of the tray is finished in a matching cream colour.
Diameter: 12.5 inches.

Condition report:

The tray is in good condition with bright lithography. Small chips to the paint are present along the outer red rim where the underlying metal is exposed (photo 1). The cream surface shows scattered light surface scratches and minor pitting consistent with use (photo 1). The reverse shows light scuffing and small spots of localised oxidation, particularly around the recessed areas (photo 3). The metal structure remains sound with no significant dents or warping.
