A lithographed tin advertising change tray featuring a green ground with the script lettering DRINK Coca-Cola and REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. The central image depicts a young woman in a straw hat and white dress holding a flared Coca-Cola glass beside a basket of white roses, framed within an ornate scrolling border. The reverse is finished in plain green enamel. Measuring 19 inches long and 8.5 inches wide across the widest point.


Condition report:

Significant colour fading and yellowing to the central lithographed surface (photo 1). Scattered surface scratching, paint loss, and edge wear with exposed metal along the raised borders and rim (photos 1, 3, and 4). Oxidation and rust spots to the front ground, rim, and to the reverse (photos 1 and 2). A distinct impact dent with deformation to the right-hand edge (photo 2).
