A painted chalkware advertising display figure for The Golden Spirit produced by Curzon Enterprises Ltd. The figure depicts a man with dark skin in a leaning pose rolling a wooden-effect barrel with silver-coloured hoops. He is dressed in a white short-sleeved shirt and red-and-white striped trousers with a green waistband, mounted on a rectangular green-painted base. The front of the base features the cursive text The Golden Spirit in gold-toned lettering. The underside of the base has incised lettering across the top reading CURZON ENTERPRISES LTD, with LONDON in the lower-left corner and ENGLAND in the lower-right corner.

The figure stands approximately 9.75 inches in height.

Condition report:

The chalkware figure shows wear and age-related deterioration. There is fine crazing and cracking to the paint and surface material across the man\'s skin, shirt, and the barrel (photo 1, 3, 4). The white paint on the shirt exhibits yellowing (photo 2, 4). The gold-toned text on the front of the base is chipped with substantial finish loss (photo 1). Various small paint chips and scuffs are present, notably on the base and the man\'s hair (photo 1, 5).
