A Johnnie Walker Black Label advertising showcard, comprising a lithographed tin plate mounted to a wooden backing board. The cream ground is set within a red border and features the iconic striding man logo in red and black, accompanied by BORN 1820 and STILL GOING STRONG slogans. The central text is printed in red and black, reading ASK FOR JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK LABEL GUARANTEED OVER TWELVE YEARS OLD OBTAINABLE HERE. The reverse is fitted with a hinged wooden easel stand with twine stay and bears an adhesive paper label reading Supplied and printed by THE SIGNAL PRESS LTD. 133, Great Suffolk Street, London, S.E.1.

Condition report:

Significant surface oxidation and rust spots are scattered across the cream field (photo 1). Minor paint loss and wear are visible along the red border (photo 1 and 4). The wooden backing board and easel stand show age-related wear, including a dark rectangular stain to the stand (photo 2). The paper label on the reverse has a small tear and loss at the bottom-right corner (photo 3).
