A double-sided flanged enamel advertising sign featuring a yellow ground with black serif lettering reading PRATT’S MOTOR SPIRIT. The central text is positioned on a white band, while a lower white border carries the secondary text ANGLO-AMERICAN OIL CO. LTD. in black block lettering. The design is finished with a white and black lined border detail.
21 inches wide by 18 1/4 inches high.


Condition report:

The sign is in a heavily weathered state with extensive corrosion and pitting visible along the mounting flange and all four outer edges (photo 4). Significant enamel loss is present across both faces, notably around the letters P and R of PRATT\'S (photo 2) and the letters S and T of SPIRIT (photo 3). There is substantial loss to the lower right corner and white border area (photo 7). The metal shows some deformation at the lower flange corner (photo 4). General surface scratching, fading to the yellow and white grounds, and environmental staining are present throughout (photo 1).
