A large scale lithographed advertising framed print for Huntley and Palmers Biscuits. The scene is completed with a blue vase of pink roses and various individual biscuits scattered across a reflective tabletop. The top header reads HUNTLEY and PALMERS BISCUITS in red block lettering with black drop shadows. The bottom left corner bears a printed mark reading PRINTED IN ENGLAND and the bottom right corner is marked READING and LONDON ENGLAND. The piece is housed in a dark-stained reeded wooden frame with a white inner slip and a sealed paper backing.

Across the frame: 36.5 inches
Height including frame: 25.5 inches.

Condition report:

The poster exhibits significant buckling, rippling, and creasing across the paper surface (photo 1). Several white surface scuffs and scratches are visible, notably in the lower-left and central right sections (photos 4 and 5). There is general age-related fading to the colours. The wooden frame shows minor scuffs and wear to the finish, and the brown backing paper is torn in multiple locations (photo 8).
