A rare Victorian Walker’s Warrington Ales advertising print featuring a cream ground with a patterned pale blue and floral border. The top displays the brewer name in a bold black serifed arc. At the centre is a circular trade mark emblem depicting a royal figure in red robes and a crown riding a white horse, led by a page boy. The text TRADE MARK is printed in red flanking the emblem. This graphic is enclosed within a wreath of hops and ears of barley. The base features the text WARRINGTON ALES in black block-serifed lettering. The print is housed in a dark wood-grain effect frame with a gilt inner slip under glass.
Approximately 22.5 inches wide by 27 inches high.

Condition report:

Water stains and foxing are present below the central graphic and above the word WARRINGTON (photos 1, 2, 4). A vertical crease or tear is visible to the paper at the far left edge (photo 4). General spotting and foxing is present across the cream background (photo 1). The frame shows surface scuffs and the backing paper on the reverse is aged and partially torn (photo 5).
