A rectangular advertising showcard for The Dews of Erin Old Irish Whisky. The card features a cream ground with a central pale green and gold banner containing the text OLD IRISH WHISKY in cream block lettering. The brand name THE DEWS OF ERIN is printed above in a curved black serif font. A central circular trade mark device features a green clover and the text THE A1 IRISH WHISKY. The lower section includes the blender’s details WILLIAM FOULDS PAISLEY. The design is embellished with scrolling shamrock motifs and stylized corner shields containing gold harps. The lower left corner bears the printed maker’s mark H.G. GILLESPIE, LITHO. and the lower right corner is marked GLASGOW. The reverse shows surface loss and brown adhesive staining.

Condition report:

The card shows brown spotting and foxing across the front surface, particularly to the lower left and central sections (photo 1). The edges and corners exhibit wear, scuffing, and minor delamination (photo 1). Small dark rust marks are visible near the bottom edge, likely from previous staples (photo 1).
