The box is printed with the black cat trade mark and cork-tipped Virginia cigarette branding, with the inner tray edge printed in red with the hygiene certificate and the slogan ‘Made specially to prevent sore throats’. Fitted to the reverse with an integral fold-out card easel stand.

Condition report:

Flocked surround displays light edge rubbing and minor surface dust (photo 1). The mounted cigarette packet has edge wear, light toning, creasing, and a small tear to the top corner flap of the inner card tray (photo 3). The rear easel stand has edge fraying and minor discolouration to the board, but remains intact and functional (photo 2).
