Lot 12: Vintage Stephens Inks Porcelain Enamel Advertising Thermometer Sign

A vintage advertising thermometer sign for Stephens Inks, constructed of white porcelain enameled metal. The sign is rectangular with a rounded top section featuring a hanging grommet. The face displays the company name “Stephens Inks” in black script lettering above the slogan “FOR ALL TEMPERATURES” in block capitals. A central glass tube thermometer is mounted on the panel, displaying a scale marked numerically from 0 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The scale includes descriptive temperature markers: BLOOD HEAT, SUMMER HEAT, TEMPERATE, and FREEZING. The construction material and style are consistent with early 20th-century commercial advertising signage.
