A Booth’s Gin advertising pub display figure modelled as a walking red lion with a raised front right paw, mounted on a rectangular black base. The figure is constructed from a white chalkware material. The lion is finished in bright red with black detailing to the mane, tail, and facial features. The front of the black base features raised yellow lettering reading BOOTH’S GIN. The underside of the base is white with an impressed mark reading MADE IN ENGLAND. Other impressed marks are present to the left of the country of origin but are not legible.

5 3/4 inches tall.

Condition report:

The figure is in fair condition with multiple areas of paint loss and chipping. Significant paint loss is visible on the lion\'s muzzle and face (photo 2), the mane (photo 4), and the front right paw. The black base shows chipping to the edges and corners (photo 1). The underside exhibits heavy wear, staining, and loss of the black coating, exposing the white composite material beneath (photo 3). Minor fading is present on the yellow lettering.
