Lot 621: A Trio of Cadbury Advertising Drinking Chocolate Measuring Scoops

A trio of cast aluminium advertising scoops intended for use with drinking chocolate or cocoa. The group comprises one oval-shaped scoop with a contoured thumbpiece embossed with the words Cadbury in script and Bournville in block serif lettering. The reverse of the handle shows the same marks incised. Two circular scoops are also included, each featuring a rounded thumbpiece embossed with the Cadbury script name. One circular scoop features a hammered, dimpled texture to the interior bowl, while the other features a distinct hexagonal honeycomb pattern. The Cadbury name is incised to the reverse thumbpiece of both circular examples.
