A double-sided illuminated advertising sign for Capstan Medium Cigarettes. The sign features a grey painted metal casing with rounded ends and translucent advertising panels. The graphic layout comprises a central blue band with white serif lettering reading CAPSTAN, set above a white lower section with blue sans-serif text reading MEDIUM CIGARETTES. A small printed mark to the lower right corner of the face reads MAR 63. The unit is fitted with two metal hanging hooks and a pull-cord switch. It measures 31 1/4 inches long by 11 1/2 inches high and 5 3/4 inches deep.

Condition report:

The metal casing shows surface wear, including paint loss, oxidation, and surface grime across all sides. The translucent panels appear largely intact with light surface scratches and minor edge discolouration (photo 1). This item has not been tested and is sold as a decorative piece and requires professional rewiring and safety testing before use.
