An advertising sign with a circular body, featuring a bright yellow and orange spoked wheel design. The central yellow band displays the Dunlop name in bold black lettering, surmounted by an outer black tyre tread border lettered DUNLOP TYRES. The lower portion incorporates an oval portrait of John Boyd Dunlop inscribed J B Dunlop TRADE MARK. The reverse of the yellow mounting flange is printed in black lettering reading MADE IN ENGLAND 9714. The piece measures approximately 4 inches in diameter and 5 inches in total height including the flange.


Condition report:

Surface shows light wear, fine scuffs, and small scattered paint losses, most notably along the outer rim edge (photo 3) and the side edges of the flange (photo 4). Very minor surface oxidation is present at areas of paint loss. The metal body and flange remain structurally sound with no significant bends or dents.
