Yellow ground with black block lettering. The sign features the word SMOKE horizontally at the top, positioned above the letters B, D, and V, which are arranged vertically. A printed black mark to the lower left corner reads 499, and a similar mark to the lower right corner reads LONDON, E. 4.
36.5 inches x 8 inches.

Condition report:

Significant enamel loss and heavy chipping along all four edges and at the corners, exposing the underlying metal which shows advanced oxidation, surface rust and basic over-painting (photos 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7). The central advertising field remains largely legible with some surface scratching, minor pitting and small spots of enamel loss within the letters, notably on the letter B (photo 2).
