A Budweiser electric advertising sign in the form of the brand’s bowtie logo. The sign is constructed with a red acrylic frame housing a double border of red neon tubing, with the word Budweiser depicted in white neon glass characters. The entire assembly is supported by a black metal framework for wall mounting or freestanding use. A black power transformer is fixed to the reverse, bearing a label printed with the Everbrite logo and reading ‘Made in the U.S.A. by Everbrite’, ‘ELECTRIC SIGN 230V, 50Hz, 100W MAX.’, and ‘TYPE: CONFIG2-6’. The unit is wired for the UK market with a standard three-pin fused plug.

Condition report:

The sign is in functional condition and illuminates evenly (photos 1 and 2). There is general surface dust throughout and minor scuffing to the red acrylic frame (photo 8). The black black-out paint applied to the rear curves of the neon tubing is cracking and peeling in multiple areas (photos 6 and 7). The black metal mounting bracket shows minor surface oxidation and paint loss (photo 9).
