Lot 288: Perrier Motor Map of England and Wales

A promotional motor map set for Perrier French Natural Sparkling Table Water, published by George Philip and Son Ltd. The collection is housed in a dark green textured card folder featuring red and white lettering to the front reading ‘THE Perrier MAP REGISTERED’ and white text to the reverse stating ‘Perrier THE PERFECT DRINKING WATER’. The set consists of fifteen sectional map cards of England and Wales, each with a blue circular index tab at the top. The main index card displays the brand logo alongside two Royal Warrants reading ‘BY SPECIAL APPOINTMENT TO H.M. KING GEORGE V.’ and illustrations of green bottles labelled ‘THE CHAMPAGNE OF TABLE WATERS’. The cards feature a ‘MOTOR MAP OF ENGLAND & WALES’ at a scale of eight miles to one inch.
