The St. Anne’s Well Brewery Co. Ltd advertising print on a white ground in its original banded frame. The central design features a heraldic red shield with two crossed keys and Trade Mark wording set on a scroll. The brewery name is displayed in a stylised arched blue font with gold-tone and black shadowing above product wording Exeter Pale, Mild & Old Ales. The composition is flanked by two arcs of printed medals representing awards from the Brewers & Allied Trades International Exhibition & Market, with dates including 1906, 1909, 1910, and 1911. The piece is set within its original dark-stained Branded wooden frame fitted with brass hanging loops. An impressed stamp reading ST ANNES WELL BREWERY CO LTD is present on the top edge of the frame.

Condition report:

Light foxing and scattered brown age spots are visible on the white ground, primarily to the central area and around the medal graphics (photos 2, 3, 4, and 5). There is minor darkening toward the outer edges of the paper (photo 2). The wooden frame shows surface scuffs, scratches, and small indentations consistent with use (photos 1, 7, and 8). The impressed lettering on the top edge of the frame remains largely legible despite surface wear (photo 6). The reverse paper backing is generally intact but shows minor fraying and small tears at the taped edges (photo 9).
