The lithograph is housed under glass within a relief-molded pressed brass frame. The top of the frame bears embossed lettering reading S.ALLSOPP & SONS LIMITED and the bottom is marked BURTON-ON-TRENT. The reverse is closed with brown paper and includes a metal hanging loop.
15 1/8 inches high by 17 3/8 inches wide.
Condition report:
The pressed brass frame shows several small dents and kinks to the outer rim, notably at the 10 o\'clock and 2 o\'clock positions (photo 1). There is a natural aged patina throughout with small spots of green verdigris oxidation, particularly visible on the bottom edge near the word BURTON (photo 4). The internal lithograph shows foxing and water staining to the right-hand side of the white background area (photo 2). Some minor dust and debris is trapped between the glass and the graphic. T
