Lot 113: Bulmer's Cider Advertising Weather House Showcard

Bulmer’s Cider novelty cardboard advertising weather house showcard, styled as a pair of wheeled Victorian bathing machines with red, lime green, and striped roofs. The upper sign reads ‘Whatever the weather, today they go for BULMER’S CIDER’ in black and red lettering against a lime green ground. Two arched openings labelled ‘DRY’ and ‘WET’ house movable cutout figures comprising a woman in a patterned swimsuit and a man in a red and white striped bathing suit holding an umbrella. The lower section features applied die-cut wheels and steps. The reverse retains original printed instructions for adjusting the figures using the top peg mechanism.
