Lot 9: Vintage Blue Cross Tea Advertising Sign

A single vintage advertising sign for Blue Cross Tea. The sign is presented vertically and utilizes a color palette of dark blue or black, white, and yellow. The design features prominent white text reading ALWAYS DRINK BLUE CROSS, positioned above a yellow cross symbol enclosed within a yellow circle. Near the center, a yellow rectangular tea package is depicted, bearing the text BLUE CROSS CEYLON. Smaller text includes a slogan referencing the cautious housewife. The sign concludes with the phrase FRAGRANT AND DELICIOUS TEA. Based on its high gloss and visual texture, the item appears to be constructed as reverse-painted glass, although similar examples are frequently listed in the market as enamel or metal advertising signs. The sign is fitted with a small hanging attachment at the top.
