A painted plaster countertop point-of-sale advertising display model depicting a half-length cobbler figure working on a black shoe, mounted above a rectangular cream ground base. The front of the base features raised lettering reading Phillips in black script, above red lettering STICK·A·SOLES AND HEELS and black script Double the life of your shoes. The textured rubber sole applied to the model shoe bears the moulded text PHILLIPS SUPERFINE STICK-A-SOLE, MADE IN ENGLAND, and size mark 26, while the heel tip is moulded with the word PRESIDENT. The reverse of the figure and base is finished with a painted flat surface.

Condition report:

Extensive crazing and surface cracking across the entire painted plaster finish, particularly prominent on the reverse of the figure and base (photo 3). Paint chipping and loss visible to the cobbler\'s arms, sleeves, hair, and along the front and side base edges (photos 1, 2, and 4). A visible structural crack runs along the seam where the upper body joins the rectangular plinth (photos 1 and 3). Discolouration and surface grime throughout (photos 1-4).
