A rectangular enamel advertising sign with a white ground and red border. The sign features bold red block lettering reading NO SMOKING above a central graphic of a lit cigarette with three stylized black wisps of smoke, overlaid by a large red diagonal cross. The sign is constructed from heavy-gauge sheet metal with a high-gloss finish. The reverse is finished in a black protective coating. There are six mounting holes positioned at the corners and the top and bottom centres. Based on the 3 inch wide tape measure provided for scale, the sign measures approximately 24 inches in width and 10 inches in height.

Condition report:

Good shiny condition, the enamel face shows minor surface scratches and scattered pitting, with a cluster of scratches across the central cigarette graphic (photo 1).
