A circular enamel advertising sign featuring a central red ground with white block lettering reading TRADE MARK above and PEARS below. The centre depicts a hatched monochrome illustration of two hanging pears on a leafy branch, within a concentric border of grey-banded pearl bead motifs. The reverse displays an applied or stamped red flourish mark against oxidised tinplate. No maker or printer marks are visible.


Condition report:

Heavy surface wear and weathering throughout. The front shows surface scratches, crazing to the lithography, small chips, and dark staining to the lower right red field (photo 1). The rim exhibits edge loss, and rust pitting, particularly to the top and right edge surrounding the mounting hole (photo 1)
