A Hudson’s Soap enamel advertising sign featuring a deep blue ground with a thin green border. The central text reads HUDSON’S in large white serif block lettering, flanked by yellow script reading Buy to the left and Soap to the right. The design includes a pointing hand icon at the left and a spigot or tap icon at the right. The reverse shows heavy oxidation and remnants of yellow and white pigment, including a stencilled number 26 in yellow.

Condition report:

The sign has good strong colours but shows significant enamel loss and heavy corrosion along the top edge, with metal pitting and loss to the iron substrate (photo 2). The blue enamel face exhibits widespread minor surface scratching and scuffing throughout (photo 4).
