A cream ground enamel advertising sign for The Great Tower St. Tea Company, Limited. The sign features large dark blue serif lettering reading TOWER TEA across the upper section. Centrally positioned below is a circular seal containing a detailed graphic of the White Tower of London, with the word STRENGTH across the base of the structure. The seal is bordered by the text THE GREAT TOWER ST TEA COMPANY, LIMITED. LONDON in dark blue. The tower flies a flag bearing the letters W, L & Co. Decorative blue line work accents the lower curved section of the sign. At the bottom centre of the circular seal is a small printed mark consisting of a circle containing the letter E. The sign has a distinctive shaped lower profile.
20.5 inches wide by 10.5 inches high.


Condition report:

The sign presents very well on both sides but has a number of areas that have clearly been restored.
