Two-gallon rectangular petrol can finished in green gloss with hand-detailed black lettering. The front and back panels are embossed with Pratts Perfection Spirit, while the side panel is embossed P P X X. The top surface is embossed Pratts Perfection Spirit Highly Inflammable alongside a 2 Galls capacity mark. Includes a brass screw-top cap embossed Pratts XX Spirit. The base features an embossed mark reading Pratts and a date stamp for Month 1923.

Condition report:

The can has been fully repainted in a green gloss finish with hand-detailed black lettering. There are visible dents and undulations to the metalwork on the side panels and corners (photos 2 and 4). The paint application is thick, partially obscuring the embossed details on the top and base (photo 7). The brass cap remains functional with a dark aged patina and surface oxidation (photo 6).
