A double-sided circular forecourt enamel sign with yellow ground, featuring a central graphic of a Lucas 12V car battery with red carrying handle inscribed LUCAS, alongside a King of the Road emblem. The lower section incorporates a white panel lettered in black LUCAS BATTERIES ON EXTENDED CREDIT TERMS. Fitted within a circular iron retaining frame mounted with a hinged double-sided top topper reading OPEN to one side and CLOSED to the reverse, supported on a tubular upright with a four-point cross base. Diameter measures 24 inches.


Condition report:

Enamel faces retain bright shiny enamel and show scattered small chips and surface oxidation to the main faces and around edge mounting points (photos 3, 4, 5, and 7). The outer metal frame, hinged topper, upright pole, and base display surface corrosion, paint loss, and rusting throughout (photos 1, 2, 6, and 7).
