Single-sided enamel advertising sign for B.D.V. Tobacco and Cigarettes. The sign features a yellow ground with bold black block lettering reading SMOKE B.D.V. TOBACCO & CIGARETTES. No maker marks are visible.

19 7/8 inches x 20 inches.


Condition report:

Significant corrosion and surface rust are present around the entire perimeter and concentrated at the mounting holes (photo 1). There is a notable area of enamel loss and heavy oxidation on the right-hand edge, approximately midway down (photo 2). The yellow enamel surface shows various scattered scratches, scuffs, and minor pitting throughout (photo 1). The reverse side is heavily oxidised with dark surface rust covering most of the metal (photo 4).
