The outboard motor oil can features a yellow ground with black lettering reading ‘PENNZOIL OUTBOARD MOTOR OIL’ and ‘100% PURE PENNSYLVANIA’, centred by the red Liberty Bell trademark with text reading ‘REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.’ and lower text stating ‘GUARANTEED TO CONTAIN 200 cm³ (1/5 LITER) SELF AND PERFECT MIXING FOR 2-CYCLE ENGINES’. The rectangular penetrating oil can features a yellow ground with red and black banding, lettered ‘DRIPLESS PENETRATING OIL FOR HINGES, LOCKS, ETC.’ surrounding a central roundel with the Liberty Bell mark and ‘Supreme Quality PENNZOIL Safe Lubrication’. The reverse details automotive, home, and shop uses with directions and a printed caution referencing ‘C. of A. No. 899 N. Y. F. D.’. Fitted with a metal and plastic nozzle spout, red cap, and an embossed top reading ‘DRIPLESS OIL’.
