An unusual advertising sign with a top-mounting flange measuring 28.5 inches x 9 inches, featuring a dark green ground. The sign displays bold white block lettering with black outlines reading Wills’s Woodbines, contained within a white rectangular border. The top edge is finished with a ninety-degree flange.
Condition report:
Excellent condition with a high degree of original gloss and colour saturation (photo 1). Minor enamel loss is present along the length of the top mounting flange and around the mounting holes (photo 6). There is a patch of enamel loss with associated rust at the upper right corner (photo 5), with further minor chips and small losses visible along the other edges. The reverse side shows scattered surface scratches and small areas of pitting (photo 7).
