The upper section displays the brand name in decorative serif and block lettering. Centred below the illustration is a black printed sphinx above the words TRADE MARK. A series of prize medals are depicted along the bottom edge, identifying awards from exhibitions in London 1851, Paris 1855, London 1873, Antwerp 1885, Edinburgh 1886, and Kimberley 1892. The print is housed in a dark-stained wooden frame under glass with modern corrugated cardboard backing and brass hanging brackets.
