A rectangular enamel advertising sign featuring a dark green tiled ground with a shaped central white cartouche. The cartouche contains black and red lettering for Ogden’s St. Julien Tobacco, flanked by pictorial vignettes depicting packets of St. Julien Empire Blend and Pure Blended Virginia tobacco. Both packet illustrations include the slogan Exquisite Cool and Fragrant. The lower edge is marked Issued by the Imperial Tobacco Co (of Great Britain & Ireland), Limited.
