A Hudson’s Soap enamel advertising sign featuring a red ground with a central white wedge-shaped beam and a yellow border. The main lettering displays HUDSON’S SOAP in black sans-serif capitals, with white capitals above and below reading FOR WASHING UP and FOR WASHING CLOTHES. To the left-hand side is a black gas lamp bearing the vertical letters Q A S, standing for Quick and Safe. The reverse carries a modern adhesive label. 15 x 5 inches.
