A small capacity rectangular lithographed motor oil tin for Solvolene Lubricants Ltd. The red ground features a central graphic depicting a green and black lubrication applicator. Branding to the top includes the address Reginald Square, London S.E.8 and telephone exchange Tideway 2241/3. The lower section is marked Lubrication Specialists above a yellow panel intended for oil grade markings. The tin retains its original metal screw cap and has a plain red lithographed reverse.
