Lot 38: McVitie & Price Biscuits Vintage Advertising Sign with Stag Motif

A vintage framed advertising sign for McVitie & Price Biscuits. The sign features a central depiction of a majestic stag bust set against a muted, cloudy background. The branding “McVitie & Price” is prominently displayed in stylized red script across the top, and the word “Biscuits” is similarly rendered at the bottom. The sign appears to be a print, possibly a lithograph or chromolithograph, set behind glass, housed within a simple dark brown wooden frame. The aesthetic is consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century commercial advertising. A small line of text is visible below the word Biscuits, likely indicating the printer or a royal warrant.
